How to mount your shelf securely and correctly on concrete or brick walls.

To ensure the best possible installation, we recommend following the guide below. Make sure you have received the included screws and rawlplugs.

Tools you will need:

  • Pencil
  • Spirit level
  • Ø8mm drill
  • Screwdriver
  • Hammer (for rawlplugs)

Step-by-step guide:

1. Prepare the mounting location
Measure precisely where the shelf should be placed and mark the center of the first screw hole. Use a pencil to mark the placement. Ensure there are no obstructions inside the wall (wires or pipes).

2. Drill the first hole
Use an Ø8mm drill to drill the first hole where the middle screw (or one of the middle screws) should be placed. Insert the rawlplug into the hole using a hammer until it is flush with the wall.

3. Temporarily mount the shelf
Secure the shelf with the first screw, but stop screwing when there is approximately 0.5 cm left, so the shelf can still be rotated.

4. Adjust the shelf and mark the remaining holes
Gently rotate the shelf to horizontal and use a spirit level to ensure it is level. Once the shelf is in the correct position, mark the remaining screw holes with a pencil. Be careful with the wall to avoid scratches while rotating the shelf.

5. Drill the remaining holes
Bring the shelf back to something resembling vertical, then drill the marked holes with your Ø8mm drill. Insert the included rawlplugs.

6. Secure the shelf
Rotate the shelf back to horizontal and fasten the screws until they are approximately 0.5 cm from being fully tightened. Finally, use a screwdriver to fully tighten the screws, but avoid overtightening, as this can damage both the shelf and the wall.

Extra tips:

  • Be careful to ensure the shelf is level before tightening all screws, so it is positioned exactly as you desire.
  • Never overtighten screws with an electric screwdriver – use a manual screwdriver for the final tightening for optimal control.
